This ensures that users get a good error message early on when trying
to do something that isn't okay:

The CSIDriver "hostpath.csi.k8s.io" is invalid: spec.volumeLifecycleModes: Unsupported value: "foobar": supported values: "persistent", "ephemeral"
Using a "normal" CSI driver for an inline ephemeral volume may have
unexpected and potentially harmful effects when the driver gets a
NodePublishVolume call that it isn't expecting. To prevent that mistake,
driver deployments for a driver that supports such volumes must:
- deploy a CSIDriver object for the driver
- list "ephemeral" as one of the supported modes
The default is "persistent", so existing deployments continue to work
and are automatically protected against incorrect usage.
This commit contains the API change. Generated code and manual code
which uses the new API follow.
Clean up the code paths that lead to objects being transformed and output with negotiation.
Remove some duplicate code that was not consistent. Now, watch will respond correctly to
Table and PartialObjectMetadata requests. Add unit and integration tests.
When transforming responses to Tables, only the first watch event for a given type will
include the columns. Columns will not change unless the watch is restarted.
Add a volume attachment printer and tighten up table validation error cases.
Disable protobuf from table conversion because Tables don't have protobuf because they
use `interface{}`
This PR is the first step to transition CSINodeInfo and CSIDriver
CRD's to in-tree APIs. It adds them to the existing API group
“storage.k8s.io” as core storage APIs.

Introduce the v1alpha1 version to the Kubernetes storage API. And add a
new VolumeAttachment object to that version. This object will initially
be used only by the new CSI Volume Plugin. Eventually existing volume
plugins can be refactored to use it too.
Currently setting watch cache size for a given resource does not disable
the watch cache. This commit adds a new `default-watch-cache-size` flag
to map to the existing field, and refactors how watch cache sizes are
calculated to bring all of the code into one place. It also adds debug
logging to startup to allow us to verify watch cache enablement in
production.

All Stores in Kubernetes follow the same logic for determining the name
of an object. This change makes it so that CompleteWithOptions defaults
the ObjectNameFunc if it is not specified. Thus a user does not need to
remember to use ObjectMeta.Name. Using the wrong field as the name can
lead to an object which has a name that bypasses normal object name
validation.

**What this PR does / why we need it**: the shortcut expander will take the list of short names for resources from the API server during the discovery. For backward compatibility a hardcoded list of short names will always be appended while evaluating a short name.
