This makes debugging individual test cases much easier. For example:
go test -p 1 ./pkg/controller/cronjob -run TestSyncOne_Status/prev_ran_but_done,_is_time,_past_deadline -v
Instead of reporting an event or displaying an error, simply exit
when the namespace is being terminated. This reduces the amount of
controller churn on namespace shutdown. While we could technically
exit the entire processing loop early for very large jobs,
we should wait for more evidence that is an issue before changing
that logic substantially.
This change handles the case where the ith cronjob may have its start
time set to nil.
Previously, the Less method could cause a panic in case the ith
cronjob had its start time set to nil, but the jth cronjob did not. It
would panic when calling Before on a nil StartTime.
- Move from the old github.com/golang/glog to k8s.io/klog
- klog as explicit InitFlags() so we add them as necessary
- we update the other repositories that we vendor that made a similar
change from glog to klog

- Entirely remove all references to glog
- Fix some tests by explicit InitFlags in their init() methods

Remove method NewCronJobControllerFromClient
**What this PR does / why we need it**:
This method was originally introduced when cronjob was still called scheduledjob: 7a34347f7f
Back then, both init methods had different signatures.
Since the rename to cronjob (41d88d30dd), this method is an alias to the normal initializer, have the same signature and is not used anywhere in the codebase.
Since this method was never actually used for cronjobs, it doesn't seem removing it would need any deprecation notice.
