Add Local Storage Capacity Isolation API

This PR adds the new APIs to support storage capacity isolation as
described in the proposal [https://github.com/kubernetes/community/pull/306](url)

1. Add SizeLimit for emptyDir volume
2. Add scratch and overlay storage type used by container level or
node level

**Release note**:

```release-note
Alpha feature: Local volume Storage Capacity Isolation allows users to set storage limit to isolate EmptyDir volumes, container storage overlay, and also supports allocatable storage for shared root file system.
Use meta.v1 GroupVersionKind with json tags to generate OpenAPI spec
We are using two different GVK struct in generation of OpenAPI extensions. This PR unify that and also add json tags to meta.v1 GVK to comply with json naming system in other serializations. Also the value of Action extension is now lowercase.
66a1d07ef4 Merge pull request #46407 from liggitt/namespace-delete-collection
Automatic merge from submit-queue (batch tested with PRs 46407, 46457)
Remove deletecollection support from namespace object
Namespace storage accidentally picked up deletecollection support from embedding the generic store. If invoked, it skips the custom namespace `Delete()` storage method that enforces finalization, and skips the namespace lifecycle admission plugin that protects immortal namespaces from deletion.
Given the data integrity implications of skipping namespace finalization, I'd backport this as far as we're releasing patch releases.
```release-note
The namespace API object no longer supports the deletecollection operation.

Support parallel scaling on StatefulSets

Fixes #41255

```release-note
StatefulSets now include an alpha scaling feature accessible by setting the `spec.podManagementPolicy` field to `Parallel`.  The controller will not wait for pods to be ready before adding the other pods, and will replace deleted pods as needed.  Since parallel scaling creates pods out of order, you cannot depend on predictable membership changes within your set.
The alpha field podManagementPolicy defines how pods are created,
deleted, and replaced. The new `Parallel` policy will replace pods
as fast as possible, not waiting for the pod to be `Ready` or providing
an order. This allows for advanced clustered software to take advantage
of rapid changes in scale.
Promotes Source IP preservation for Virtual IPs from Beta to GA
Fixes #33625. Feature issue: kubernetes/features#27.
Bullet points:
- Declare 2 fields (ExternalTraffic and HealthCheckNodePort) that mirror the ESIPP annotations.
- ESIPP alpha annotations will be ignored.
- Existing ESIPP beta annotations will still be fully supported.
- Allow promoting beta annotations to first class fields or reversely.
- Disallow setting invalid ExternalTraffic and HealthCheckNodePort on services. Default ExternalTraffic field for nodePort or loadBalancer type service to "Global" if not set.
**Release note**:
```release-note
Promotes Source IP preservation for Virtual IPs to GA.

Two api fields are defined correspondingly:
- Service.Spec.ExternalTrafficPolicy <- 'service.beta.kubernetes.io/external-traffic' annotation.
- Service.Spec.HealthCheckNodePort <- 'service.beta.kubernetes.io/healthcheck-nodeport' annotation.

add singular resource names to discovery

Adds the singular resource name to our resource for discovery. This is something we've discussed to remove our pseudo-pluralization library which is unreliable even for english and really has no hope of properly handling other languages or variations we can expect from TPRs and aggregated API servers.

This pull simply adds the information to discovery, it doesn't not re-wire any RESTMappers.

Add Host field to TCPSocketAction

Currently, TCPSocketAction always uses Pod's IP in connection. But when a pod uses the host network, sometimes firewall rules may prevent kubelet from connecting through the Pod's IP.

This PR introduces the 'Host' field for TCPSocketAction, and if it is set to non-empty string, the probe will be performed on the configured host rather than the Pod's IP. This gives users an opportunity to explicitly specify 'localhost' as the target for the above situations.

Add Host field to TCPSocketAction

Remove 'all namespaces' meaning of empty list in PodAffinityTerm

Removes the distinction between `null` and `[]` for the PodAffinityTerm#namespaces field (option 4 discussed in https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/issues/43203#issuecomment-287237992), since we can't distinguish between them in protobuf (and it's a less than ideal API)

Leaves the door open to reintroducing "all namespaces" function via a dedicated field or a dedicated token in the list of namespaces

Wanted to get a PR open and tests green in case we went with this option.

Not sure what doc/release-note is needed if the "all namespaces" function is not present in 1.6

fc8a37ec86 Added ability for Docker containers to set usage of dns settings along with hostNetwork is true
Introduced chages:
   1. Re-writing of the resolv.conf file generated by docker.
      Cluster dns settings aren't passed anymore to docker api in all cases, not only for pods with host network:
      the resolver conf will be overwritten after infra-container creation to override docker's behaviour.

   2. Added new one dnsPolicy - 'ClusterFirstWithHostNet', so now there are:
      - ClusterFirstWithHostNet - use dns settings in all cases, i.e. with hostNet=true as well
      - ClusterFirst - use dns settings unless hostNetwork is true
      - Default

Modify CronJob API to add job history limits, cleanup jobs in controller

**What this PR does / why we need it**:
As discussed in #34710: this adds two limits to `CronJobSpec`, to limit the number of finished jobs created by a CronJob to keep.

**Which issue this PR fixes**: fixes #34710

**Special notes for your reviewer**:

cc @soltysh, please have a look and let me know what you think -- I'll then add end to end testing and update the doc in a separate commit. What is the timeline to get this into 1.6?

Include all user.Info data in CSR object

In order to use authorization checks to auto-approve CSRs in the future, we need all the info from the user.Info interface.

This mirrors the API fields in the TokenReview API used to return user info, and in the SubjectAccessReview API we use to check authorization.

```release-note
The CertificateSigningRequest API added the `extra` field to persist all information about the requesting user. This mirrors the fields in the SubjectAccessReview API used to check authorization.
Switch RBAC subject apiVersion to apiGroup in v1beta1
Referencing a subject from an RBAC role binding, the API group and kind of the subject is needed to fully-qualify the reference.
The version is not, and adds complexity around re-writing the reference when returning the binding from different versions of the API, and when reconciling subjects.
This PR:
* v1beta1: change the subject `apiVersion` field to `apiGroup` (to match roleRef)
* v1alpha1: convert apiVersion to apiGroup for backwards compatibility
* all versions: add defaulting for the three allowed subject kinds
* all versions: add validation to the field so we can count on the data in etcd being good until we decide to relax the apiGroup restriction
```release-note
RBAC `v1beta1` RoleBinding/ClusterRoleBinding subjects changed `apiVersion` to `apiGroup` to fully-qualify a subject. ServiceAccount subjects default to an apiGroup of `""`, User and Group subjects default to an apiGroup of `"rbac.authorization.k8s.io"`.

Promote TokenReview to v1

Peer to https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/pull/40709

We have multiple features that depend on this API:

- [webhook authentication](https://kubernetes.io/docs/admin/authentication/#webhook-token-authentication)
- [kubelet delegated authentication](https://kubernetes.io/docs/admin/kubelet-authentication-authorization/#kubelet-authentication)
- add-on API server delegated authentication

The API has been in use since 1.3 in beta status (v1beta1) with negligible changes:
- Added a status field for reporting errors evaluating the token

This PR promotes the existing v1beta1 API to v1 with no changes

Because the API does not persist data (it is a query/response-style API), there are no data migration concerns.

This positions us to promote the features that depend on this API to stable in 1.7

Generate OpenAPI definition for inlined types

Currently OpenAPI definition generator ignores any type's member with an empty json name tag. However, most (if not all) of these types also have "inline" json tag. That means we should inline their members into parent type's OpenAPI definition instead of ignoring them. This resulted in many types missing common parameters such as "Name". It look something serious to me for OpenAPI spec and I suggest we merge and cherry-pick this into 1.5 release branch as soon as possible.

Use generation in pod disruption budget

Fixes #35324

Previously it was possible to use allowedDirsruptions calculated for the previous spec with the current spec. With generation check API servers always make sure that allowedDisruptions were calculated for the current spec.

At the same time I set the registry policy to only accept updates if the version based on which the update was made matches to the current version in etcd. That ensures that parallel eviction executions don't use the same allowed disruption.

9d5bac6330 Change minion to node
Contination of #1111

I tried to keep this PR down to just a simple search-n-replace to keep
things simple. I may have gone too far in some spots but its easy to
roll those back if needed.

I avoided renaming `contrib/mesos/pkg/minion` because there's already
a `contrib/mesos/pkg/node` dir and fixing that will require a bit of work
due to a circular import chain that pops up. So I'm saving that for a
follow-on PR.

I rolled back some of this from a previous commit because it just got
to big/messy. Will follow up with additional PRs

Dynamic provisioning for flocker volume plugin

Refactor flocker volume plugin
* [x] Support provisioning beta (#29006)
* [x] Support deletion
* [x] Use bind mounts instead of /flocker in containers

* [x] support ownership management or SELinux relabeling.
* [x] adds volume specification via datasetUUID (this is guranted to be unique)

I based my refactor work to replicate pretty much GCE-PD behaviour

54195d590f Use strongly-typed types.NodeName for a node name
We had another bug where we confused the hostname with the NodeName.

To avoid this happening again, and to make the code more
self-documenting, we use types.NodeName (a typedef alias for string)
whenever we are referring to the Node.Name.

A tedious but mechanical commit therefore, to change all uses of the
node name to use types.NodeName

Also clean up some of the (many) places where the NodeName is referred
to as a hostname (not true on AWS), or an instanceID (not true on GCE),
etc.

Add NodeName to EndpointAddress object

Adding a new string type `nodeName` to api.EndpointAddress.
We could also do *ObjectReference to the api.Node object instead, which would be more precise for the future.

```
type ObjectReference struct {
    Kind            string    `json:"kind,omitempty"`
    Namespace       string    `json:"namespace,omitempty"`
    Name            string    `json:"name,omitempty"`
    UID             types.UID `json:"uid,omitempty"`
    APIVersion      string    `json:"apiVersion,omitempty"`
    ResourceVersion string    `json:"resourceVersion,omitempty"`
    // Optional. If referring to a piece of an object instead of an entire object, this string
    // should contain information to identify the sub-object. For example, if the object
    // reference is to a container within a pod, this would take on a value like:
    // "spec.containers{name}" (where "name" refers to the name of the container that triggered
    // the event) or if no container name is specified "spec.containers[2]" (container with
    // index 2 in this pod). This syntax is chosen only to have some well-defined way of
    // referencing a part of an object.
    // TODO: this design is not final and this field is subject to change in the future.
    FieldPath string `json:"fieldPath,omitempty"`
}
rbac validation: rules can't combine non-resource URLs and regular resources
This PR updates the validation used for RBAC to prevent rules from mixing non-resource URLs and regular resources.
For example the following is no longer valid
```yml
kind: ClusterRole
apiVersion: rbac.authorization.k8s.io/v1alpha1
metadata:
  name: admins
rules:
  - apiGroups: ["*"]
    resources: ["*"]
    verbs: ["*"]
    nonResourceURLs: ["*"]
```
And must be rewritten as so.
```yml
kind: ClusterRole
apiVersion: rbac.authorization.k8s.io/v1alpha1
metadata:
  name: admins
rules:
  - apiGroups: ["*"]
    resources: ["*"]
    verbs: ["*"]
  - nonResourceURLs: ["*"]
    verbs: ["*"]
```
It also:
* Mandates non-zero length arrays for required resources.
* Mandates non-resource URLs only be used for ClusterRoles (not namespaced Roles).
* Updates the swagger validation so `verbs` are the only required field in a rule. Further validation is done by the server.
Also, do we need to bump the API version?
This commit adds a new volume manager in kubelet that synchronizes
volume mount/unmount (and attach/detach, if attach/detach controller
This eliminates the race conditions between the pod creation loop
and the orphaned volumes loops. It also removes the unmount/detach
from the `syncPod()` path so volume clean up never blocks the
399b086620 Merge pull request #23684 from luxas/auto_label_arch
Automatic merge from submit-queue
Automatically add node labels beta.kubernetes.io/{os,arch}
Proposal: #17981
As discussed in #22623:
> @davidopp: #9044 says cloud provider but can also cover platform stuff.
Adds a label `beta.kubernetes.io/platform` to `kubelet` that informs about the os/arch it's running on.
Makes it easy to specify `nodeSelectors` for different arches in multi-arch clusters.
```console
$ kubectl get no --show-labels
NAME        STATUS    AGE       LABELS
127.0.0.1   Ready     1m        beta.kubernetes.io/platform=linux-amd64,kubernetes.io/hostname=127.0.0.1
$ kubectl describe no
Name:			127.0.0.1
Labels:			beta.kubernetes.io/platform=linux-amd64,kubernetes.io/hostname=127.0.0.1
CreationTimestamp:	Thu, 31 Mar 2016 20:39:15 +0300

Automatic merge from submit-queue

Add subPath to mount a child dir or file of a volumeMount

Allow users to specify a subPath in Container.volumeMounts so they can use a single volume for many mounts instead of creating many volumes. For instance, a user can now use a single PersistentVolume to store the Mysql database and the document root of an Apache server of a LAMP stack pod by mapping them to different subPaths in this single volume.

Also solves https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/issues/20466.

3ee833ca3b Merge pull request #25006 from liggitt/third-party-root-scope
Automatic merge from submit-queue

Make ThirdPartyResource a root scoped object

ThirdPartyResource (the registration of a third party type) belongs at the cluster scope. It results in resource handlers installed in every namespace, and the same name in two namespaces collides (namespace is ignored when determining group/kind).

ThirdPartyResourceData (an actual instance of that type) is still namespace-scoped.

This PR moves ThirdPartyResource to be a root scope object. Someone previously using ThirdPartyResource definitions in alpha should be able to move them from namespace to root scope like this:

setup (run on 1.2):
```
kubectl create ns ns1
echo '{"kind":"ThirdPartyResource","apiVersion":"extensions/v1beta1","metadata":{"name":"foo.example.com"},"versions":[{"name":"v8"}]}' | kubectl create -f - --namespace=ns1
echo '{"kind":"Foo","apiVersion":"example.com/v8","metadata":{"name":"MyFoo"},"testkey":"testvalue"}' | kubectl create -f - --namespace=ns1
```

export:
```
kubectl get thirdpartyresource --all-namespaces -o yaml > tprs.yaml
```

remove namespaced kind registrations (this shouldn't remove the data of that type, which is another possible issue):
```
kubectl delete -f tprs.yaml
```

... upgrade ...

re-register the custom types at the root scope:
```
kubectl create -f tprs.yaml
```

Additionally, pre-1.3 clients that expect to read/write ThirdPartyResource at a namespace scope will not be compatible with 1.3+ servers, and 1.3+ clients that expect to read/write ThirdPartyResource at a root scope will not be compatible with pre-1.3 servers.

fe26381c90 Support for both map-based and set-based selectors in extensions/v1beta1.Scale
Here are a list of changes along with an explanation of how they work:
1. Add a new string field called TargetSelector to the external version of
   extensions Scale type (extensions/v1beta1.Scale). This is a serialized
   version of either the map-based selector (in case of ReplicationControllers)
   or the unversioned.LabelSelector struct (in case of Deployments and
   ReplicaSets).
2. Change the selector field in the internal Scale type (extensions.Scale) to
   unversioned.LabelSelector.
3. Add conversion functions to convert from two external selector fields to a
   single internal selector field. The rules for conversion are as follows:
   i. If the target resource that this scale targets supports LabelSelector
        (Deployments and ReplicaSets), then serialize the LabelSelector and
        store the string in the TargetSelector field in the external version
        and leave the map-based Selector field as nil.
   ii. If the target resource only supports a map-based selector
        (ReplicationControllers), then still serialize that selector and
	store the serialized string in the TargetSelector field. Also,
	set the the Selector map field in the external Scale type.
   iii. When converting from external to internal version, parse the
        TargetSelector string into LabelSelector struct if the string isn't
	empty. If it is empty, then check if the Selector map is set and just
	assign that map to the MatchLabels component of the LabelSelector.
   iv. When converting from internal to external version, serialize the
        LabelSelector and store it in the TargetSelector field. If only
	the MatchLabel component is set, then also copy that value to
	the Selector map field in the external version.
4. HPA now just converts the LabelSelector field to a Selector interface
   type to list the pods.
5. Scale Get and Update etcd methods for Deployments and ReplicaSets now
   return extensions.Scale instead of autoscaling.Scale.
6. Consequently, SubresourceGroupVersion override and is "autoscaling"
   enabled check is now removed from pkg/master/master.go
7. Other small changes to labels package, fuzzer and LabelSelector
   helpers to piece this all together.
8. Add unit tests to HPA targeting Deployments and ReplicaSets.
9. Add an e2e test to HPA targeting ReplicaSets.

53ee76fe1a Support Work Queue jobs with variable parallelism
When job.spec.completions is nil, only
one task needs to succeed for the job to succeed,
and parallelism can be scaled freely during runtime.

Added tests.

Release Note:

This causes two minor changes to the API.

First, unset parallelism previously was defaulted to be
equal to completions. Now it always defaults to 1 if unset.

Second, having parallelism=N and completions unset would previously
be defaulted to 1 completion and N parallelism.
(this is not something we expect people to do, though)
Now, no defaulting occurs in that case, and the job's
behavior is different (any completion causes success).

This enables use of software or hardware transports viz. be2iscsi,

Use of non-default transports changes the disk path to the following format:

- PeriodSeconds - How often to probe
- SuccessThreshold - Number of successful probes to go from failure to success state
- FailureThreshold - Number of failing probes to go from success to failure state

This commit includes to changes in behavior:

1. InitialDelaySeconds now defaults to 10 seconds, rather than the
kubelet sync interval (although that also defaults to 10 seconds).
2. Prober only retries on probe error, not failure. To compensate, the
default FailureThreshold is set to the maxRetries, 3.

fa39c2b032 Add flocker volume plugin
Flocker [1] is an open-source container data volume manager for
Dockerized applications.

This PR adds a volume plugin for Flocker.
The plugin interfaces the Flocker Control Service REST API [2] to
attachment attach the volume to the pod.

Each kubelet host should run Flocker agents (Container Agent and Dataset
Agent).

The kubelet will also require environment variables that contain the
host and port of the Flocker Control Service. (see Flocker architecture
[3] for more).

- `FLOCKER_CONTROL_SERVICE_HOST`
- `FLOCKER_CONTROL_SERVICE_PORT`

The contribution introduces a new 'flocker' volume type to the API with
fields:

- `datasetName`: which indicates the name of the dataset in Flocker
  added to metadata;
- `size`: a human-readable number that indicates the maximum size of the
  requested dataset.

Full documentation can be found docs/user-guide/volumes.md and examples
can be found at the examples/ folder

bf2decce81 Add NotReadyAddresses to Endpoints
In many cases clients may wish to view not ready addresses for endpoints
in order to do set membership prior to a pod being ready. For instance,
a pod that uses the service endpoints to connect to other pods under
the same service, but does not want to signal ready before it has
contacted at least a minimal number of other pods.

This is backwards compatible with old servers and clients. There is
an additional cost in size of endpoints before services ramp up, which
will add minor CPU and memory use for services that have a significant
number of pods which have not become ready.

f4e2c738f6 Delete deprecated API versions
pkg/service:

There were a couple of references here just as a reminder to change the
behavior of findPort. As of v1beta3, TargetPort was always defaulted, so
we could remove findDefaultPort and related tests.

pkg/apiserver:

The tests were using versioned API codecs for some of their encoding
tests. Necessary API types had to be written and registered with the
fake versioned codecs.

pkg/kubectl:

Some tests were converted to current versions where it made sense.

Generated new .json output for Swagger UI

Added the api/v1/v1.json file to the hack/update-swagger-spec.sh script so it gets updated and built.

Fixes #5057

Reverting last change: Deleted line for building v1 api from the build file update-swagger-ui.sh and deleted the output file from build (v1.json).
