9e81f3b50b tests: Replaces images used with agnhost (part 2)
Quite a few images are only used a few times in a few tests. Thus,
the images are being centralized into the agnhost image, reducing
the number of images that have to be pulled and used.

This PR replaces the usage of the following images with agnhost:

- net
- netexec
- nettest
- webhook

66a3817d62 Add ExpectEqual() to e2e framework
Many e2e tests expect two values are the same, such check is one of
common things in tests. Now gomega.Expect(foo).To(gomega.Equal(bar))
is doing that, this adds ExpectEqual() for replacing the above call
for readable code.
In addition, this replaces under apimachinery/generated_clientset.go
as a sample.

436544488b Add ExpectError() to e2e test framework
There is a lot of gomega.Expect(err).To(gomega.HaveOccurred()) callers
which expect an error happens in e2e tests.
However these test code seems confusing because the code readers
need to take care of To() or NotTo() on each test scenario.
This adds ExpectError() for more readable test code.
In addition, this applies ExpectError() to e2e provisioning.go as a
sample.

338bc3ce42 Move framework ssh code to new package
The framework/ssh.go code was heavily used throughout the framework
and could be useful elsewhere but reusing those methods requires
importing all of the framework.

Extracting these methods to their own package for reuse.

Only a few methods had to be copied into this package from the
rest of the framework to avoid an import cycle.

618d6771f8 Add missing node.address != "" condition in tests
It turns out to be a frequent bug that is revealed when nodes don't have
external IP addresses. In the test we assume that in such case there
won't be any addresses of type 'NodeExternalIp', which is invalid. In
such case there will be an address of type 'NodeExternalIP', but with
the empty 'Address' field.

e8a7cee43e test: remove k8s.io/apiextensions-apiserver from framework
There are two reason why this is useful:

1. less code to vendor into external users of the framework

The following dependencies become obsolete due to this change (from `dep`):

(8/23) Removed unused project github.com/grpc-ecosystem/go-grpc-prometheus
(9/23) Removed unused project github.com/coreos/etcd
(10/23) Removed unused project github.com/globalsign/mgo
(11/23) Removed unused project github.com/go-openapi/strfmt
(12/23) Removed unused project github.com/asaskevich/govalidator
(13/23) Removed unused project github.com/mitchellh/mapstructure
(14/23) Removed unused project github.com/NYTimes/gziphandler
(15/23) Removed unused project gopkg.in/natefinch/lumberjack.v2
(16/23) Removed unused project github.com/go-openapi/errors
(17/23) Removed unused project github.com/go-openapi/analysis
(18/23) Removed unused project github.com/go-openapi/runtime
(19/23) Removed unused project sigs.k8s.io/structured-merge-diff
(20/23) Removed unused project github.com/go-openapi/validate
(21/23) Removed unused project github.com/coreos/go-systemd
(22/23) Removed unused project github.com/go-openapi/loads
(23/23) Removed unused project github.com/munnerz/goautoneg

2. works around https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/issues/75338
   which currently breaks vendoring

Some recent changes to crd_util.go must now be pulling in the broken
k8s.io/apiextensions-apiserver packages, because it was still working
in revision 2e90d92db9 (as demonstrated by
586ae281ac).

Fix websocket e2e tests for https endpoints
When running e2e conformance tests against a public https protected
APIserver the websocket tests would fail because it fell back to using
`ws://` instead of `wss://` for the websocket connection.

This happened because the code detect if HTTPS is used only looks for
HTTPS related configuration in the kubeconfig, like a custom CA or
certificates.

The fix is to always use HTTPS when the apiserver URL has the scheme `https://`.

23a7538c4d e2e: Fallback to internal IPs when using SSH in tests
Some tests which utilized SSH to run commands on nodes would
first look for external IPs but fall back to internal IPs
since those could be reachable by the testing program.

This change adds that same fallback logic to another method
used to find the appropriate SSH address for each node.

266080e18d Make SSH path handling consistent across providers during e2e
There were providers which would:
 - allow overrides of the file base name but not the path
 - allow oeverrides of the file path
 - not allow any overrides at all

This change makes it such that each of the supported providers
can override the SSH key location using an env var. The env
var itself may vary based on the provider though.

If given an absolute path to the key, it is used. If given
a relative path it will be made relative to ~/.ssh

f3e59a5c15 Add the existence check of /proc/net/nf_conntrack
The existence of /proc/net/nf_conntrack depends on the Linux kernel
config CONFIG_NF_CONNTRACK_PROCFS, and Ubuntu 16.04's one is disabled.
So the e2e test "should set TCP CLOSE_WAIT timeout" fails on that.
This adds the existence check of /proc/net/nf_conntrack for skipping
the test if not existing.
In addition, this makes IssueSSHCommandWithResult return Stderr in
the error message if err is nil to check "No such file or directory"
as nonexistence of /proc/net/nf_conntrack.

8b17db7e0c e2e: modular framework
Not all users of the E2E framework want to run cloud-provider specific
tests. By splitting out the code it becomes possible to decide in
a E2E test suite which providers are supported.

This is achieved in two ways:
- the framework calls certain functions through a provider
  interface instead of calling specific cloud provider functions
  directly
- tests that are cloud-provider specific directly import the
  new provider packages

The ingress test utilities are only needed by a few tests. Splitting
them out into a separate package makes the framework simpler for test
suites not using those tests.

Remove e2e-image-puller
A long time ago, We added the image prepulling as a workaround due to
the overwhelming amount of flake caused by pulling during the tests.
This functionality has been broken for a while now when we switched to a
COS image where mounting `docker` binary into `busybox` stopped working.
So we just have dead code we should clean up.

Handle TERM signal to reduce pod terminating time.

**What this PR does / why we need it**:

Register signal handler for `TERM`.

For container, process is run as PID 1. PID 1 is special in linux, it ignore any signal with the default action. So process will not terminate on `SIGINT` or `SIGTERM` unless it is coded to do so.

By default, docker use `TERM` signal to termiante pods, it will wait 10 seconds before sending `KILL` signal.

```
$ docker run -d --rm --name test busybox sh -c 'while true; do sleep 1; done'
aa827df5d7bfffc5ca4fae2429d0b761a5a142c57ba3e1faa59b305c92f1c875
$ time docker stop test
test
real	0m10.408s
user	0m0.048s
sys	0m0.020s
```

It's better to register a exit handler for `TERM`, it reduces a lot of time in waiting pods to termiante.

```
$ docker run -d --rm --name test busybox sh -c 'trap exit TERM; while true; do sleep 1; done'
e331bff454dba8e45df6065c3bd2a928e1c41303aafdf88ede38def3e4e5781f
Wait longer in pod cleanup
I've checked the [garbage collector tests](827b3d77cd/test/e2e/apimachinery/garbage_collector.go (L557)) and usually they're waiting up to a minute to clean the resources. So I'm proposing to use that same values when waiting for the pod cleanup. I was not able to reproduce the problem locally, but from reading the logs it looks like the problem might be with just the timing nothing else.
Fixing kubemci conformance tests
Ref https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/k8s-multicluster-ingress/issues/131
Changes:
* Add a static ip annotation while running the tests for kubemci. kubemci requires the IP to be preallocated.
* Add a default backend service. I have added it in the spec directly, so the change will be for ingress controller as well which should be fine. kubemci requires users to specify a default backend service that they need to ensure exists in all clusters.
* Disabled update SSL cert test for kubemci since it does not support that.
* Minor logging fixes.
Verified by running the tests locally that they now pass.
[e2e service] Fix CleanupGCEResources for regional test
*What this PR does / why we need it**:
From https://k8s-testgrid.appspot.com/google-gke-staging#gke-staging-1-8-1-9-upgrade-regional-cluster&width=20, regional cluster test is failing because the GCE resource cleanup function attempts to parse region from `--gcp-zone` while regional cluster only set `--gcp-region`.
This PR pipes region into the cleanup function as well. This will need to be cherrypicked to 1.8 and 1.9.
Make cluster e2e non docker specific.
Fixes https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/issues/57979.
This PR:
1) Install `crictl` for GCE GCI/Ubuntu test cluster.
2) Change cluster e2e test to use `crictl`. If `crictl` is not installed, it will fall back to `docker` CLI.
Please note that, this PR:
1) Only installs `crictl` for GCI/Ubuntu image on GCE. If other image maintainers want to support this, it's very easy to install `crictl` `v1.0.0-alpha.0`:
```console
$ wget -O crictl https://storage.googleapis.com/kubernetes-release/crictl/crictl-v1.0.0-alpha.0-linux-amd64
$ chmod +x crictl
// The sha1sum is `075190a36a03beb08065f279693f3e369e70cf99`.
```
2) Only installs `crictl` for test cluster. We may want to install it by default in production cluster after `crictl` is beta in v1.10.
**What this PR does / why we need it**:
Add brackets around IPv6 addrs in e2e test IP:port endpoints
There are several locations in the e2e tests where endpoints of the
form IPv6:port use IPv6 addresses directly, without surrounding brackets.
Brackets are required around IPv6 addresses in this case, in order to
distinguish the colons in the IPv6 address from the colon immediately
preceding the port.
Also, wherever the curl command might be used with an IPv6 address
surrounded in brackets, the "-g" argument is added to the curl
command line arguments so that the brackets can be interpreted
correctly.
fixes #52746
**What this PR does / why we need it**:
This PR adds brackets around IPv6 addresses when they appear as part of an IPv6-addr:port endpoint
in the e2e tests. This is needed because any connections that attempt to use IPv6-addr:port
endpoint without brackets surrounding the IPv6-addr will fail.
For https://github.com/kubernetes/features/issues/286.
Rename `SYSTEMD_SERVICES` to `LOG_DUMP_SYSTEMD_SERVICES`. test-infra disables log dump in our e2e framework, and uses a different log dump logic https://github.com/kubernetes/test-infra/blob/master/kubetest/e2e.go#L480-L497. So the flags we added in https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/pull/55288 will not work in test-infra.
Fortrunately, test-infra is using the same script `cluster/log-dump/log-dump.sh`, so we could still configure systemd services by setting the environment variable globally.
The original environment variable name is too general for setting globally, change it to a more specific name.
2827b7ffb7 Add brackets around IPv6 addrs in e2e test IP:port endpoints
There are several locations in the e2e tests where endpoints of the
form IP:port use IPv6 addresses directly, without surrounding brackets.
Brackets are required around IPv6 addresses in this case, in order to
distinguish the colons in the IPv6 address from the colon immediately
preceding the port.
Also, wherever the curl command might be used with an IPv6 address
surrounded in brackets, the "-g" argument is added to the curl
command line arguments so that the brackets can be interpreted
correctly.
installer and device plugin containers.
To support this, exports certain functions and fields in
framework/resource_usage_gatherer.go so that it can be used in any
e2e test to track any specified pod resource usage with the specified
probe interval and duration.
Fix Incorrect Scale Subresources and HPA e2e ScaleTargetRefs
The HPA e2es failed to actually set `apiVersion` on the created HPAs, which previous was ignored.  Since the polymorphic scale client was merged, this behavior is no longer tolerated (it was never correct to begin with, but it accidentally worked).
Additionally, the `apps` resources have their own version of scale.  Until `apps/v1beta1` and `apps/v1beta2` go away, we need to support those versions in the scale client.
Together, these broke some of the HPA e2es.
4be181739e e2e tests need a ping6 test for IPv6-only clusters
e2e tests provide only an (IPv4) ping test for external connectivity.
We need a way to conditionally run a ping6 external connectivity check,
and disable the (IPv4) ping-based external connectivity check,
for end-to-end testing on IPv6-only clusters.
This feature will be needed for creating gating IPv6 CI tests.
Added device plugin e2e kubelet failure test
Signed-off-by: Renaud Gaubert <renaud.gaubert@gmail.com>
**What this PR does / why we need it**:
This is part of issue #52859 (fixes #52859)
This PR adds a e2e_node test for the device plugin.
Specifically it implements testing of failure handling by the device plugin components in case Kubelet restart / crashes.
I might try to refactor the GPU tests in a later PR.
StatefulSet: Deflake e2e RunHostCmd more.
It turns out that at some points while the Node is recovering from a
reboot, we get a different kind of error ("unable to upgrade
connection"). Since we can't distinguish these transient errors from an
error encountered after successfully executing the remote command,
let's just retry all errors for 5min. If this doesn't work, I'm gonna
blame it on sig-node.
StatefulSet: Deflake e2e RunHostCmd.
The initial retry up to 20s was giving up too soon.
I'm seeing this test flake because the Node rebooted and it takes ~2min
to recover.
Now StatefulSet RunHostCmd calls will use the same 5min timeout as with
other Pod state checks.
