The ap_tools utilities are intended to be used in conjunction with the mdevctl utility for safely managing and inspecting vfio-ap mediated devices. For now, this will consist of the ap-check tool which will be driven via a call-out from mdevctl to validate a proposed vfio-ap mediated device change.
